About
Kazm was a B2B membership and loyalty platform. Brands and communities built engagement programs out of quests, rewards, tiers and leaderboards, then embedded the resulting membership form into their own site.
The hard part was verification. A quest could require a Discord join, a follow on X, holding a specific NFT, a Shopify purchase or an on-chain interaction. The backend had to confirm all of it across several social platforms and four chains before releasing a reward.
I worked on it as a full-stack engineer from June 2022 to July 2025, contributing about 23% of commits across the repo as its third-largest contributor, with the deepest ownership in the admin dashboard, membership backend and org-admin modules. The product has since shut down.
Key Features
- Quests. Configurable tasks that verify themselves. Connect an account, follow, hold an NFT, submit a form, interact with a contract.
- Rewards. Discount codes, on-chain NFT airdrops, point-of-sale and recurring rewards, gated by points, tier or quest completion.
- Tiers and leaderboards. Point-based progression with badges, tier sync and public standings.
- Embeddable membership forms. Brands dropped the form into their own site through a JavaScript SDK.
- Cross-platform verification. Discord, Telegram, X and Shopify alongside Ethereum/EVM, Solana, Aptos and ImmutableX.
- Member CRM. ElasticSearch-backed search, tagging, filtering, CSV import and export, and attribution analytics.
